BASKET FEST 2010--APRIL 30, MAY 1, and 2 The Lake Country Basket Guild is proud to sponsor our 17th annual weaving weekend. This year's event will be held at the Pavilion at Washington Fair Park, 3000 Highway PV, West Bend, Wisconsin 53095; www.wcfairpark.com. We know you will be inspired by this year's exceptional weaving classes and nationally known teachers. Class pictures, as well as the complete brochure can be viewed here. Highlights this year are: Great teachers from various states Beginner class for the true beginner into the world of basket weaving (see page 7) Food will be cash concession through the local 4-H clubs. Coffee, juice, water, and soda are available. Beverages and food (NO CARRY-INS) must be purchased through the Fair Park (Washington County Fair Park ordinance 18, Section 2.14.24)c) [No one my carry in any beverages or food onto the Washington County Fair Park site--any beverages on premises not provided by the Fair Park personnel will be confiscated]). We will use the participant feedback forms from last year and appreciate all of you taking the time to fill them out. Your input is very helpful to us in planning future events. Please make a photocopy for your records. Best value is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday -- $90.00 (The Saturday appetizer evening will be $10.00) or choose Pick-A-Day-Or-Two -- Friday-$30.00, Saturday-$50.00, or Sunday-$40.00. Silent Auction Items Needed We are seeking donations from our members, friends, business associates, etc. for our Basket Fest 2010 Silent Auction. We know there is a lot of talent among our members, not only basket weaving, but other crafty talents as well. If you would be willing to donate a product and/or service, this would be greatly appreciated. The success of our Silent Auction relies solely on donations.
